I have not put up prices for nearly five years to make the exchange rate better for all currencies. In the past year I have included both postage costs for retail sales and even the Credit card charge. This is a charge levies on me by the credit card company of between 2 and 3.5% depending on the credit card. I just mention this in case you were unaware of what I am doing to make things easier for both yourself and your local dealers. This way I can help to make stable the price worldwide and by keeping prices at a reasonable level for as long as possible. This is a good thing. Yes, at some stage prices must increase slightly. Raw materials, wages and shipping have all increased around 5 times over the past five years. The new issues surrounding fuel will be the main issue though in the short term future. While these issues are entirely out with my control, I intend to absorb these increases until the time comes when I will be forced to make some small adjustments. There may be a slight price increase later in 2008 because of these outside pressures. Meantime Hullachan will do everything possible to keep prices down.
